"Great location and super clean"

Super location and very comfortable cottage with all facilities if you needed them to self cater. Cottage was super clean and excellent breakfasts provided by Jenna. Great place to stop for a few days and we would highly recommend .

Jenna was really lovely, very welcoming. The location is beautiful, the grounds are lovely and the cottages are a great size and have everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious every day. We visited as a family and had a toddler and dog with us and everything was great. High chair and child friendly cutlery was a bonus. Thanks so much we'd love to visit again in the future!

Wayside cottage was absolutely lovely. It was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The location was ideal, and our host, Jenna, was helpful, charming, and thoughtful, the perfect host! It felt like a home from home... but better! We would thoroughly recommend a relaxing stay at this venue in the Pennines 🙂

The lack of WiFi was the only snag as we do like to plan our next days activities by looking them up on a website for planning our journey and the opening times, etc. Especially in an unfamiliar area

"Retreat in the countryside"

We stayed at Wayside Cottage in Edmundbyers. Lovely little cottage, nicely furnished and well presented. Felt warmly and cosy. All village amenities are on a short walk from the cottage. The surrounding hills and wider area are very beautiful. Great for nature retreat.

"A Great stay at Burnside"

We had a lovely 2 day stay here, the location was great, lovely and quiet with nice outdoor spaces.The hosts have it just right, very helpful, friendly and considerate I thank them for making us and our 2 dogs feel welcomed and making us a great breakfast each morning in the conservatory. The chalet was clean cosy and comfortable with all we needed at hand ( a few fun old fashioned games to use and great local information) we all slept well and had everything we needed at hand

"Birders Paradise"

The location is amazing, we were able to hear and see some unusual birds, woodcocks, snipe and lapwings. The hosts were wonderful and very welcoming.
