Lovely welcoming B&B. Room very comfortable. Amazing breakfast served in the Summer House in the garden. Marian and her Mum very hospitable. Only stayed 1 night but will def return to stay and see the area

It was a stunning location, a magical view of Ben Lomond and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was served in a summer house, which was brilliant! They couldn't do enough for us, just the best place to stay and chill. Comfortable room and a lounge to spread out in. Perfect!

What an absolute delight Lower Balwill is . Both Marian and Janet were the perfect hosts and I felt really spoilt by them both . Their company was an added bonus . Nothing was too much trouble . If you like exceptional service , a truly wonderful breakfast , magnificent location , and a warm and comfortable accommodation, then this is the place for you . I look forward to returning to you . A Wonderful Long Weekend at Lower Balwill I am so glad we had the opportunity to stay in Scotland, and choosing Lower Balwill was one of the best decisions we made. The owner of this B&B was truly amazing and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation. The room was spotless, well-organised, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fantastic portions. I completely fell in love with the Scottish porridge and the coffee served each morning — such a great way to start the day! The property features a beautiful garden and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and nature. I honestly couldn’t take my eyes off the scenery — it was breathtaking. Local shops had everything we needed, and the people, including the drivers, were kind and polite. It truly felt like a proper Scottish experience. I would strongly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to relax and recharge away from the busyness of daily life. I certainly left feeling refreshed and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I will definitely return and recommend this lovely place to everyone!

Homely, spacious room, comfortable bed, beautiful sunset view from garden toward Ben Lomond, Marion and her mum are great hosts. The best breakfast in Airbnb I ever had, delicious foods in beautiful sunroom in the garden.

Watch your feet for the ornament in the garden as my husband tripped while looking at the beautiful view.

The setting was peaceful and quiet. Marion had good suggestions and made a huge tasty breakfast

This is an absolute gem of a find. The scenery is incredible. The hosts were amazing and made us feel like we were visiting family and nothing was a bother. You also have a private lounge and entrance to use which leads to the garden. The bedroom is spotless and well equipped. The best part is the breakfast in the garden room, that is very special and worth a visit alone. We would definitely use again and it's dog friendly.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, they couldn't have done anymore to ensure our stay was good, I would 1 million percent recommend a stay at this fabulous bed and breakfast, Marion and Janet are amazing I will definitely go back

Marion and her Mum Janet were lovely hosts and we felt so comfortable and relaxed at lower balwill, the breakfast was lovely both mornings and we were the first 2 to have our breakfast in the summer house this year which was an extra special touch. We did a bit of hill walking during our stay and it was wonderful to come back and enjoy a lovely bath.

The bedroom was a bit cold the first night, but Marion resolved this and it was lovely and cosy thereafter.
