Breakfast and bread brilliant.

TV in room didn't work.

Lovely host and property. Large lounge area and bed room was spacious. Lovely summerhouse that had a firepit in the centre.

There was nothing to dislike.

Amazing host, homely, outstanding breakfast, chocolates in the room. Second time stopping here. Would stop here again.

The gardenhouse in the morning for the breakfast is amazing. (and the breakfast by itself is very good.) The hosts were very lovely and helpful. We highly recommend this address !

What a GEM to find!!!! I will never forget my stay at „Lower Balwill“ for the rest of my life and upon leaving I promised to be back real soon. There aren’t many places you can call „home from home“ or places which you don’t want to leave at all but „Lower Balwill“ will take your breath away from the moment you arrive until you sadly have to leave. All the surroundings, the most breathtaking view over the Highlands, the Summerhouse in the garden, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and a hearty Scottish breakfast which was made with so much love. Combined on top with such a cosy, impeccable clean room to return to after a long day of sightseeing and walking around. The room was exactly as described in the listing with my own toilet and washbasin, the bathroom right outside my bedroom door. Everything impeccably clean!!! Marion goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they arrive, she and her mum made also sure I had the most amazing, beautiful, magnificent and amazing stay ever!!! We shared stories and had a few lovely talks in the mornings. Their hospitality was truly exceptional and I can’t thank them enough for making my stay so memorable!!!!
