The location, welcome and service are spectacular. Both Marion and her mother are so sweet and witty! Had a nice evening sharing some wine and opinions. Stayed for single night only, would like to visit again! Thanks Filip+Michi

"Perfect homely stay"

The host was super friendly and welcoming. The area is beautiful, wonderful views in every direction. It feels very middle of nowhere, yet is close to several villages. Breakfast was served in the most amazing place, the summer house in the garden with 360° views. The bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious. There were no other guests during our stay so we had the lounge and bathroom to ourselves. The house is decorated equal to its host's bright personality and gave an immediate homely feel. There was free wifi, a television with DVDs to watch, some books and green fields as far as you could see. We loved our stay here and would happily return if ever we come back to Scotland.

Absolutely nothing. Our stay was wonderful.

"If we have to stay in the area again this place would be the top choice"

The host offered us a choice between continental and English breakfast. We chose the English one and it was the right decision. It was delicious.

We were driving to the place at 2:00 am on narrow roads. We struggled a bit to find the place but the owner got in her car to meet us, which was very kind.

Marion and her mother are just awesome. Beautiful people who make your stay memorable. A little gem in a quiet area with views all around to grass fields with sheep's and hills.
