"A perfect welcome in our B&B retreat"

We had a wonderful one night stay in Eastview on our Pennine Way hike. Lana was a perfect hosts who went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure we were comfortable. We enjoyed her delicious home cooking and felt rejuvenated to continue our hiking adventure. Thank you Lana

"Comfortable stay in pretty village"

Clear instructions left for my arrival. Lovely room which was well-equipped. Delicious home-made heat up dinner (there is nowhere in Garrigill to eat in the evening). Good breakfast.

Duvet was very hot and curtains quite thin and let a lot of light in.

"Perfect place to stay on Pennine Way walk"

Very comfy and cosy, right on the Pennine Way which we were walking. Really friendly and helpful host, great bedroom and also guest sitting room.

"Eastview met my needs for a centrally located base in the North Pennines."

A good variety of breakfast items on the menu. The food was well-prepared, and plentiful. The room suited my needs and the bed was comfortable. My room had a private bathroom just down the hall which was quite large and well-appointed.

There are some water issues in the area and the pressure was down. Having said that, water was warm and sufficient for a shower and/or whatever else you needed. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants/pub in Garigill the closest venues were in Alston (7 miles). Lana does provide at a reasonable cost packed lunches and evening meals for those without/with a vehicle.
