The location is perfect for Harry Potter studios, very close to the town too. Comfortable bed, lovely clean home, very pretty and cosy. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Good breakfast. Great value for money.

Viv, location and facilities. And breakfast.

I was providing a hog roast for a party in St Albans which couldn't have been closer (just 1 min away), and there were a couple of local pubs...the one I went to was just a short walk away. The hosts were extremely friendly, and we had good conversations over breakfast. Viv also kindly allowed me to use her oven to cook some vegetarian meals that I needed to take with me to the event I was catering.

Although the bedroom had a wardrobe, it was full of clothes with no space for any of their guest's clothes. The chest of drawers also had items in, so I kept everything in my bag. The shared bathroom was very clean, but there was no separate shower (just a shower attachment to the taps, which I used to wash my hair). The garden looked very neat and tidy, with a patio. It would have been nice to sit outside in the sun, but guests are unable to go there. Likewise, apart from sitting at the breakfast table (for breakfast) guests are unable to use any of the rooms to relax in, except their bedroom.
