Hostess was very kind, chatty and super-helpful. The room / bathroom were absolutely spotless - as was the breakfast room which was very light, airy and spacious.

Nothing - literally, I don't think there's anything that could be improved upon.

"felt like family after 2 nights with Vivian"

the cooked breakfast was delicious freshly cooked and generous and our host couldn't have been more welcoming . We parked the car in the driveway taking the bus from the end of a short road into St Albans ( less than 10mins) and used an uber taxi back . our host was eager to explain all the local Area had to offer . we stayed 2 nights and will definitely return feeling like family before we left !

"Poor privacy and poor value for money"

Location is about a 15 min walk into city centre and so is just fine as is off street parking

No privacy in room. We could hear the owners walking around and talking from around 07:30 in the morning so I'm sure they could hear us too. Breakfast was just ok. Poached eggs underdone, hosts should know how to poach an egg so it's not raw and sausages were of poor quality.
