"Decent Stay with Basic Comforts, but Falls Short on Value and Details"

Peace and quiet. The room had a TV with Netflix so we were able to watch a movie. Had parking onsite so our car was safely parked. There are few pubs nearby for a meal but would need a drive down.

When we arrived we were informed the host will come up and hand over the breakfast forms to us, however they did not. Next day morning at the breakfast table we were told we didnt choose our breakfast and we should have collected the forms ourselves. The breakfast was good; nothing exceptional. For £90 a night in off season(November), the double room was very small, the bathroom was so tiny we could barely move around. Small things like no spoons to stir tea/coffee in the room. Nothing to hold the coffee and milk sachets, they were dumped in the same cup which was meant to be used for preparing the tea. The location is on a road where cars fly up and down and there is noise, though its not very busy. Not much of views or anything to see around.

"Perfect guest house convenient for the lakes and a beautiful property and rooms"

Only 15 mins from Keswick. Lovely location and property with lots of parking available. The breakfast was so lovely. Both staff I spoke to were really helpful. Apologies for my nervous dog who barked at one of you. Thank you for your patience it was greatly appreciated.

"Fabulous comfy stay in a really lovely guesthouse"

The staff were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our bedroom was warm and comfy, and very quiet. The bed was lovely and comfortable and very large! The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Fresh, filling and delicious. The pub directly over the road provided lovely well priced hot meals... and drinks..... no taxi home required.

The only downside was the little bathroom - which was cold as there wasn't a radiator in there. But tbh, it didn't make much difference, just made you spend less time in there!!
