Gumnut House.

We stayed in a beautifully restored homestead built in 1915. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed plus a generous breakfast of Cereal , Yoghurt with fruits and Coffee. It was a really enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was first class, very tasty and served on time.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fruit salad and cooked breakfast - it was a wonderful way to start the day by eating whilst looking out over the peaceful garden. Everywhere was clean and tidy and our every need was easily met. The bed was super comfy. Gumnut house is a wonderful home away from home. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to relax for a few days.

I can't fault it as a holiday destination.

Lovely old home, B&B area big lounge and bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed, ample breakfast. Up the hill from delightful Whanganui.

Maryann was a fantastic host! It was all the little extras. Being warmly greeted. An incredible breakfast was included in the booking, and yummy homemade biscuits in a tin with teas and coffee for the enjoyment of guests. A beautiful bedroom, own bathroom and lounge, and off-street parking. Highly recommended, and would love to stay again.

Gumnut House is set back from the road down an access lane, but it is well sign-posted and easy to find. The house is well appointed, warm, comfortable, clean and welcoming.

Fantastic B&B, very pleasant owners, everything immaculate, lovely breakfast with the best fruit salad.

The bed was super comfy, with bright reading lamps and a decent large mirror on the wardrobe. Excellent large showerhead. A separate sitting room was spacious to relax in and the environment was very quiet. Maryann was an excellent host providing a gorgeous and generous colourful fruit salad with tasty accoutrements for breakfast.
