Loved the location - had a nice walk up to Monsanto town. Staff were excellent and very helpful! We had 2 drinks upon arrival in our fridge and the breakfast was absolutely delicious in the garden! Great sized property and easy if you want to do Monsanto and just leave the car at the property as you explore!

"Fairytale"

It is like you are in fairytale. Not from this world. If you would like to try something different and unusual, go here. You will rest both body and soul. Stuff is excellent. We really enjoy our stay. And the breakfast…. The best.

"Absolute charm"

Ingrid and her husband saved our stay ! We made a mistake, arrived a day early. It was supposed to be their day off. They took us in nonetheless, sent us to diner up the hill, in the village proper at Petiscos & Granitos (unbelievable view at sunset), the one restaurant made kind of famous by it’s terrasse sitting under a huge boulder. Great food. By the time we came back, the room was ready. We did go up to the Castelo, had that incredible place all to ourselves as the night was setting in. Magical. And the next morning, breakfast was incredible. Amazing experience.
