Quinta de São Pedro de Vir-a-Corça em Monsanto

The property is located like in a hidden paradise at the foothill of the rocky outcrop of Monsanto; it has beautiful garden with citrus, olive, fig trees, etc. and water fountain. The environment is so tranquil and calming. The host, Ingrid and her husband, were very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The bathroom and bedroom is a little tight. It’s not easily accessible for people with mobility challenges.

This place is just magical! A beautiful property in the middle of nature full of olive, orange and lemon trees. We only spend one night here but we would definitely come back again. It's located 20 minutes by walk of the beautiful picturesque city of Monsanto. You should definitely take this walk it's so nice and Ingrid with her partner are amazingly nice housekeepers.They are taking care of the property and the guests with love and you can definitely see and feel it. Ingrid also prepared great breakfast for us. We will be back. I totally recommend this place 🫶🏻.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Ingrid was an amazing host- so warm and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the walk to Monsanto is just challenging enough.

The location, the area and the stuff

It as gorgeous! Not far of a drive from town albeit a brisk 10 minute walk up a mountain to town right by the property. Idyllic!

Magical setting, fabulous host, delicious and filling breakfast, wonderfully situated for a beautiful and breathtaking walk up the old Roman road into the enchanting town of Monsanto. The house/cottage was smartly designed and so comfortable in which to relax.

We really should have stayed longer here. It's a little slice of paradise near Monsanto, and staying in this stone house was such a special experience. I have to mention how amazing and welcoming our host, Ingrid, was. Big thanks to her for the delicious breakfast too. We loved exploring the orchard and were amazed at how beautifully everything is maintained. It was such a treat to pick fresh figs and chestnuts straight from the trees and relax in the garden. During our road trip through Portugal, we stayed in about 12 places, and this was definitely one of our favorites. It's easy to reach by car, and the GPS takes you right to the spot.

The price could be a little better.
