Barmoors

Lovely room, comfortable bed, access to lounge area, tea/coffee making facilities, good breakfast, gorgeous quiet location and views. Alice was really helpful and even came to collect us from an evening in a local pub after my husband hurt his ankle. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

An old farmhouse with wobbly floorboards and a zillion books. The sleep in the double bed was fantastic. Evening /Afternoon Tea on arrival and a great breakfast. Lots of home baking going on here. Alice was a great host

The bathroom was great but across a landing and the lack of a TV was a niggle.

Everything was really excellent, as it always has been. We have stayed at Barmoors since 2018 and it is always delightful.

Wonderful location and extremely well looked after by Alice, who bent over backwards to cater not only for us but also our visiting family. Great breakfast and afternoon tea, not to mention the most comfortable bed ever! Thank you so much.

We hadn't realised that the private bathroom was on the other side of the house (because of plumbing constraints). In practice, this wasn't much of an issue for us (given the other guests at the time), but in other circumstances I suppose it might have been.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was super kind and welcoming. She cooked an amazing breakfast for us every morning. Staying at Barmoors was a highlight of our holidays. relaxing in the garden after a walk on the Moors is a memory I will not forget quickly.
