Good breakfast, varied and interesting, lovely gardens and pools

Nothing, except there was a spider in the bathroom but he did not move and he was harmless! My problem entirely

Wonderful place, I really love this place

Everything was perfect

Nicely decorated. Table on varanda outside the room. Aircon. There was a mix up with our twin room booking and deposit but it was sorted efficiently. Friendly staff.

We hardly had time to enjoy our fruit or make toast before the cooked breakfast was brought to the table.

Breakfast was fine

Britney always goes out of her way to make us feel welcome and assists in may ways.

Property is in a great location room was comfortable. lovely old historic building.

We woke up to shower and found absolutely zero hot water. Reported to the Manageress and she went to a display of geysers and ours showed just over 20deg. She apologised and said it would take 10min to heat up so we had breakfast first, after breakfast it was still cold. On settling the bill I was offered a 15% discount which I found insulting and declined. Ask the owner if they were checking into an establishment and were asked, "we can offer you a room with no hot water for 15% less would you accept it?" Clean sheets and hot water are non negotiables in the hospitality industry. All it would take is for a staff member to check the displays in the early morning. Very disappointed. I presume the manageress had no authority to properly find a solution to the problem.
