Shearwater Country House Accommodation

B&B in toller, absolut ruhiger Lage mit wundervollem Ausblick über das Kai und den Meeresarm in Union Hall, sehr gut geeignet zur Erkundung der gesamten Südküste. Super nette Gastgeberin, die jeden morgen ein leckeres Frühstück zubereitet mit allerhand frischem Obst / Beeren und verschiedenen Brotsorten und Croissants. Zimmer klein aber fein mit Sesseln zum "Balkon" / Schiebetür mit Gitter. Nagelneues Bad mit großer Dusche, leider lässt der Wasserdruck etwas zu wünschen übrig.

Durch die absolut ruhige Lage ist es schwierig, in der Nähe für den Abend ein Restaurant zu finden. Es gibt zwar eines ca. 500 m entfernt, aber die Öffnungszeiten der Küche bis 17.00 Uhr ! unter der Woche und bis 19.00 Uhr am Wochenende waren für uns etwas zu früh. Allerdings war das Essen dort top. Ansonsten störte uns nur der sehr geringe Wasserdruck in der Dusche.

Shearwater Country House is run by the charming and friendly Adela. We were given a great welcome to her spotlessly clean property and nothing was too much of a problem. Her continental breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have sampled. It was presented as cornucopia off delicious treats! We would love to return when next in the area as the view from the property were amazing.

We enjoyed a lovely stay with Adele. She served a wonderful and fresh breakfast every day. Rooms were clean, view was fantastic and the town of Union Hall has some great walks and views. It was a great way to start the day. Highly recommend The Shearwater Inn.

The host, Adela was exceptional. The breakfast was great and the peace & quiet, along with the extraordinary views, made our stay the perfect break.

Everything was just lovely. The staff were very pleasant and helpful towards us. They also provided us with a list of recommendations, which we greatly appreciated. They gave us a list of activities that we could do as well as a list of nice places to eat in. The scenery from the B&B was wow and it was also very nice and clean. The Breakfast each morning was also very good with lots of lovely choices to choose from. We would highly recommend this place to stay in. You won't be disappointed.

We loved the atmosphere, the friendly service, and the view spectacular. The breakfast was excellent.

Our second visit and as great as we remember it. Spotlessly clean, fab breakfast, wonderful host and beautiful views. Only a short walk to the centre of Union Hall. Perfect spot for exploring this area of County Cork. We hope to return again soon!
