Lovely, cosy rooms. Clean. View of the park and beyond opposite. Warm, cosy bar and restaurant below. Welcoming staff. Excellent Jamaican Welsh restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the food!

Only a small car park but managed to park opposite alongside the park so not terrible.

Clean, comfortable room, up stairs. Staff polite, friendly and helpful. The room is above a pub so heard the people out of the pub at closing time but the people did not make a nuisance. The hotel clearly states continental breakfast only, and this was provided in the room, including yogurt and drink in a small fridge in the room + access to a great hot drinks machine in the pub. Dinner can be had in the pub but strongly recommend to book in advance because it is a very popular pub. The food was very good with generous portions. Parking in the pub backyard. Perfectly placed to walk up the Crug Hywel Table Mountain.

It had a cosy feel and great pub downstairs which we had drinks in. Local to Crickhowell- about a 15 minute walk.

It’s very basic which we knew we were getting due to price of our stay. We were woken at 6am by barrels being delivered/moved which was a shame. Also we were above the kitchen so the room we were in had a kitchen smell of fried food.
