Lawrence Villa

A nice property with a comfortable and clean room. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The location is around 5min by foot from the beach, placed in a quiet area and around 15min to the city. We would recommend that place!

There were many mosquitoes and you need to pay extra for a cooking station. But it is quite cheap with 2$ a day, so it was fine for us.

Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly hosts. Beatiful garden with lots of animals.

Plastic table on the balcony does not match the otherwise overall high standard.

After more than a week, I can only recommend it. The setting is perfect, quiet, in the center of town but far from the hustle and bustle. The welcome is top-notch, the family takes good care of you and prepares a delicious breakfast. I'll be back!

Magical place! Was all I could ask for! Beautifully ,designed, Quiet and surrounded by trees and the host and staff were absolutely wonderful! So kind and generous ! Will definitely come back❤️

Super nice family hosting this home stay. Listen to their recommendations about trips you can take, did the most awesome tea manufacturing and tasting tour because of them. Room was really nice. Breakfast is simple but good.

Our bathroom was pretty dark and a bit worn.

We had a huge room/bungalow with a kitchen and fridge. Everything was super nice and clean with somewhat modern furniture. The owners were beyond nice and welcoming and cooked a great breakfast. Incredible value for money.

It's a small walk from the main/surfing part of the beach (15 min). But that just makes it super quiet at night, so we actually preferred this way.

We really enjoyed the stay in this place and decided to stay longer then previewed. Vashita is a very caring host, warm and friendly, and you can feel that he really wants you to feel comfortable. He is even personalizing the breakfast according to your taste. The place is amazing: quiet and with a beautiful garden and close to the beaches. Whenever possible, I would love to come back for 3 reasons. Weligama is a very nice town, Lawrence Villa is the perfect place to stay and the owner Vashita is a lovely person. When remembering Sri Lanka, I will always think about this place and the lovely host.
