They banged on my door almost every day to tell me non-essential information such as the room had been cleaned ( I could tell). Three times this was between 9-11pm and they woke me up. It got to the point where I couldn’t relax enough to nap after surfing because I was already anticipating them waking me up. They shouldn’t be bothering guests this much. It would be better if they had a ‘do not disturb sign’, didn’t knock on guests doors after 9pm and communicated all non-important information via WhatsApp instead. They only cleaned the room twice in my 18 day stay which didn’t seem enough given the heat and the insects. Also they asked guests to take the trash out themselves which seemed a bit cheeky when other places at this price clean the whole room for you every day. They said cash only on booking.com and via WhatsApp so I took out cash, only to find out when I arrived that I could’ve transferred the money instead which would’ve been a lot cheaper for me.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious studio surrounded by a beautiful garden. It's located in a residential area just out of the busy area. Lawrence, the owner, is a very nice man and he warmly welcomed us with a cup of tea/coffee. The lady who takes care of the property was lovely too. She made us a delicious breakfast and was always available if we needed something. Highly recommended when staying in Weligama!

The family bungalow in the peaceful garden setting was tremendous.. excellent value and only a short walk to the beach and town centre

Lawrence was an amazing host and gave us recommendations for the trip. The breakfast was good, the rooms were spacious and the whole stay was amazing. Looking forward to my stay there next year!

Everything was absolutely amazing, big spacious room, very comfortable beds and very clean bathroom. The traditional breakfast was really tasty and all the people in the property are so helpful and polite. Would come again !!
