The House is just as it is presented on the picture. Lovely, beautiful in a wonderful scenery and you feel like home immediately. Nicola, the host is a lovely person and made the stay even better.

The host was so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were really good and the breakfast was exceptional. I will definitely be back!

Nicola is a great hostess and is very knowledgeable about the area and many other interesting subjects. The breakfast, especially her home-made yoghurt and preserves, is delicious. We loved having our coffees in the beautiful garden early morning.

Breakfast was excellent! Well received and inducted into surroundings . Quite and peaceful with numerous hiking trails .

Quite far from town by dirt road so you have to dine at retreat. No choice in Dinner menu and Moussaka was not well prepared - egg plant was raw !! Cannot prepare your own food as there is only solar power

"I loved our night at the Whitehouse and meeting the host."

The place is beautifully decorated in such authentic, homely Karoo style. Nicola the host, was very welcoming and friendly. The guest house is very well located in the town. We were made to feel like we were coming home.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.
