Volcano Terrace Bali

The view is immaculate!! The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming.

From the airport it takes about 4 hours to get to the hotel. The hotel is so remote it is extremely difficult getting anywhere by taxi. The hotel ran out of water 3 times during our stay that we checked out 2 days early. There are not a lot of food choices due to the location. And the flies in the area are ridiculous in number. I'm glad I went because the view is breathtaking but I would not go back again. No tv so bring an iPad with downloaded movies if you want.

The view is wonderful and location is just perfect! And all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Too many house flies in property and room Staff didn’t seem wel informed about taki and trekking facilities No place to have breakfast

Perfect location for the Jeep sunrise tour and exploring the local area. This hotel boasts absolutely breathtaking views of Batur Lake with stunning gardens in a quiet pocket in Kintamani. The rooms were beautiful and the bedding was quite comfortable. We enjoyed the convenience of having a store and a very tasty eatery just a few minutes walk away. If you stay here, definitely try Wayan Bar and Grill. The staff also arranged for our laundry to be done off site and we couldn’t believe how quickly it was returned to us.

The property itself is a little rundown with a bit of wear and tear, but it wasn’t anything major and kind of added a bit of character. My bathroom did have a slight leak but the staff were very prompt to come and sort it out. There are lots of stairs, some being quite steep, so if accessibility is an issue, then this might not be the place for you.
