Sun & Moon Good View Villa

My best place in Sri Lanka. Ok it's a bit far from the sea but you can walk through a beautiful village or just ask for a lift. The owner has a tuk tuk and he is taking a fair price. The room was amazing with a kitchen and a great view (we were on top floor). The roof was great to see sunrise and sunset. Suranga, the owner is taking great care of whole premises and all guests. We even got a coconut from his garden. Great big bathroom, hot water, good pressure and a swiper to clean water from the floor. I will definitely stay again!

Best rooftop chilling area with beautiful views on the jungle and the sea. You could see big black monkeys, countless birds and beautiful sunrises. The location is quite remote, but the you can rent a scooter right at the accommodation from the owner for a very good price. The owner was always willing to help.

A hidden gem on the South Coast! This spacious, well-equipped room offers everything you need for a comfortable stay—AC, a mosquito net, a large bathroom, and even a kitchen. Nestled in nature and just a short walk from Sri Yoga, the rooftop provides a breathtaking sunrise view. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, offering tuk-tuk rides or scooter rentals to explore the area. An amazing find—highly recommend! Well equipped for longer stay and WiFi worked well since he installed fiber.

We booked two rooms for 3 people. The rooms are big and spaceous with a big bathroom and it’s own kitchen. Both rooms had 2 terraces each! It looks like the photos on booking. The owner is very friendly and helpful! He has his own tuktuk but also rents motorbikes. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

In the budget there was a little bit of a smell. But the deluxe room had no smell! 😊

Great place for staying. Road to beach every time was different, because I’d seen different nature, animals. So it was like journey every day. There were good facilities for living, and great garden in the area, and really kind host

An outstanding property with a/c which was really welcome. Our room was vast with the ability to cook if we wanted! If you had a problem it was dealt with immediately. So refreshing. We didn’t want to leave. The sunrises and sunsets were a joy to behold from our balcony. It was a beautiful and very peaceful place to be and we were high up above the trees. Suranga always had his tuk tuk available when we needed to go anywhere. Everything was done with a smile. We wish you and your delightful family well Suranga. Thank you for making us SO welcome. Can’t wait to visit again! Suranga is in the process of building a restaurant at his property which will make this accommodation even more perfect.

The name says it all "Sun & Moon"... from the rooftop, you'll see the sunrise, the sunset and the moon. Quite the views, very impressive, over the jungle, still have a vivid memory of the beautiful sunset. The property is in a super quiet neighbourhood (you'll get good quality sleep), the room is big, the owner lives next door and is always available to help you. I strongly recommend this property
