"Exceptional"

The villa is located in a very quiet area at the top of a small hill and has a little garden. We could observe the neighborhood and a piece of the ocean as well from the top roof area equipped with a table, chairs, and a hammock. The room was spacious enough, well equipped, air conditioned, and cleaned once a week. The owner and his assistant were extremely friendly and helpful responding promptly to all our requests. I rented a motorbike from them, which was much cheaper than in the rentals in Unawatuna.

You should drive a motorbike or catch a tuk-tuk to get to Unawatuna beach. The nearest beach, Dalawella, is in 20 min walk.

"Exceptional"

We had a really nice stay there. The room was really big and clean, the stuff was so nice and welcoming. We could rent a scooter at the guesthouse, which was really perfekt, because it is located in a village up a hill and you need some time to go by feet to the beach or to the restaurants. You get also a delicious breakfast and one highlight is the roofterasse with a stunning view!

The hosts were exceptionally accommodating, warm, and friendly. The room was larger than expected and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was fabulous, and our overall stay was excellent. We will definitely be using this property again during our next trip.

rented a king room for 4 month (initially planned for 1 month). Waking up with sunshine instead of alarm clock. Every morning meditation on roof top. Amazing owners, helped with everything- bike rental, shopping, fresh fish delivery

Just come to the roof top and you would never want to leave. The price is fair for what you get. Beautiful safe area, own kitchen, ac, relax and quite, only birds around. I would say it is 3x more valuable subjectively. I consider this place underrated.
