Sun & Moon Good View Villa

The room was huge! It was like a studio apartment with a balcony on both sides! Surrounded by greenery! The host came to pick us up from the railway station as we arrived late! And he also rented us his scooter which was at a really good price! The bathroom was really big too, the private kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking! There was complete privacy for ourselves! The room as well as the bathroom was so clean! His hospitality was really 10/10 !

We stayed two nights at Suranga's place. It was a studio apartment well equipped with all the amenities. It was clean and spacious and surrounded by greenery. We had a great time there, Suranga was very accommodating, he also arranged us a scooter and also dropped us to our next destination at a very low cost in his Tuk Tuk. I highly recommend his stay.

Great and friendly host, perfect and quiet location not far from the beach

Exceptional place. Tucked away on top of a hill, lots of trees around, with a beautiful private garden. Comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen in the room with everything necessary for a short stay and in case of a particular request the owners are in the house next door and very keen to help. There is attention to detail, like little kitchen towel and a box of tea, also a fridge and the gas cooker. The whole place is tidy, neat and clean. A very pleasant experience.

No complaints

The view from the roof terrace was stunning especially during sunset and in the morning! Very friendly and motivated staff, very clean room. Fair price for renting a motorbike, which I would definitely recommend in the Unawatuna/Galle area. Also the fully equipped kitchen in the room was really nice to have! We loved it and definitely recommend it!

the place was awesome ! super clean,AC was good, bathroom is big and nice, there was mini kitchen in the room that was so helpful, has a mini refrigerator in the room. actually it’s a kind of a sweet room ! on the rooftop there is a dining area and you can see nice view from there ! free parking is also available. 100% worth the money !

only down side is the location, at first bit confusing to find, the road is narrow too.

I came for one night, I stayed for 2 weeks ! If you love nature with access to Wi-Fi and AC - this is the place for you. The hosts are the best and welcome you with professionalism, sincerity and kindness

This is really awesome place. The villa is located on the top of a small hill, away from the main road, in the quiet and calm area, surrounded by local homes and trees. Only sounds of nature and birdsongs. The villa has three spacious rooms and a rooftop, where you can relax and watch sunrises and sunsets. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay: a large bed, a/c, kitchen with a small fridge, gas stove, kettle and other stuff for cooking. We stayed here for about four months and everything was great. The owners are amazing and always ready to help you with any issues. My husband and I had a great stay here. Highly recommended.

I had a very pleasent stay at Sun & Moon. I stayed here for about four weeks and everything was great. I was so happy with this place that I came back and stayed for another three weeks. The rooms have a very good standard, they are clean and they come with a small kitchen with a stovetop, fridge, waterkettle, etc. so its possible to cook at home. No washing mashine in the room, but the owners offer laundry service. So you really have everything you need here. The place is located in a quiet part of Unawatuna/Talpe, away from the busi main road (30 min walk). So if you like a peaceful and calm stay, you should come here! I also have to mention the rooftop that has a beautiful, all around view where you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset, and you can see the ocean and jungle. The place is also located a ten minute walk from Sri Yoga Shala, which offers high quality yoga classes. The owners are simply wonderful and ready to help and assist at any time. They have tuktuk service and bike rental, which is nice as the place is located a little bit away from the local grocery stores, restaurants and beaches. But its no problem getting around here. I would stay here again without a doubt :-)
