Back again for the 4th year, and it's always a pleasure staying here! If you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay, do yourself a favor and book it now. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, the location is great (near to restaurants and the sea), and the host is kind and accommodating. I can't wait to stay again!

There are no curtains so prepare to wake up with the sun (not bad if you want to be up early for surfing)

Lakma the house manager is very attentive and keeps the place spotless. Spacious rooms, nice view upstairs and great kitchen. Good location.

Very central so at times can be a bit noisy during the night.

Super nice and chill accommodation located on a hill in Hiriketiya. The room was very spacious with lots of furniture to put and hang your clothes and other stuff. The bed was very spacious as well with a nice mosquito net. There is also a balcony and you’ve got two showers in the bathroom - one for cold water, one for warm water. I really liked that there is a kitchen to use with everything you need for cooking and a big fridge and freezer. The whole place (room, hallway, kitchen) was very clean, the host cleaned everyday (not the room though if you don’t want to due to privacy) and he was very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and could relax!Will definitely come back here next time.

The room got very hot, sometimes even hotter than the outside. There is a big fan on the ceiling and also a little fan you can put in front of your bed, which makes sleeping ok. But AC would cost more I guess. There are also monkeys which go into your room if you let the doors open and aren’t there, so be careful. Unfortunately there are many dogs on the streets who bark and howl at night, so bring earplugs. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay at.
