Idyllic setting, lovely en-suite room and good breakfast. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts.

Glad we didn’t arrive in the dark as the house is off the beaten track .

Het gezellige en knusse ervan! Robin en Martin zijn twee echte gastheren.

Is niet negatief bedoeld maar de weg er heen was nog ‘n dingetje! Wij hadden zoiets van waar gaan we heen???? Maar alles kwam goed. Na het passeren van twee poorten kwamen we aan in een statig herenhuis.

We loved the location and views. Martin and Robin were very hospitable and the food was great. Our room and bathroom were lovely.

Exterior of property was not as expected, but it is an old property and once inside, it was quite grand.

Sympathetically restored property with exceptional views. Excellent access to all areas in Mid-Wales. The hosts are extremely hospitable which adds to the experience.

The manor house is very cute, with a great backstory and a stunning view of the valley. The owners are also very nice and caring people! They didn’t only help us during our stay at Plas Esgair, but also went out of their way to ensure that we had an as pleasant experience as possible in Wales.

We were welcomed very warmly by the hosts. The room we were allocated only had one bed - I was with my Grandson, Our room was changed with no fuss --- Very comfortable sitting room for guests and large, well appointed dining room

A little remote for our purposes But I could imagine that the peaceful and tranquil setting of the would be a blessing in other circumstances

The breakfast was first class fayre of full Welsh . Fresh mixed fruit and fresh juice, all served in magnificent surroundings by our hosts Martin and Robin.

Entrance a little tired, but once inside front door the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
