Plas Esgair

The ambience, the inside renovations were beautiful. Very very relaxing and quiet.

It felt a bit sad that the renovations had not yet reached the outside as eventually it would have looked stunning. Same with the garden area, so much work to do for them. Some guests may be disappointed in this as it's appearance outside looks poor but personally I didn't mind as its completely understandable. I would return despite this

Super clean luxury and very attentive and interesting hosts. Great company at long table. We had lots of happy talk.

Large comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Good breakfast (included in fair price). Good, friendly owners and service. Within a small mansion (with 14 bedrooms, though only 4 rented out). Very niclely furnished and decorated throughout (ornaments, animal heads, pictures etc.). Large cosy drawing room.

A little remote - at the end of a long track through a farmer's field full of sheep. However, did have a good view of the countryside and hills and ideal if you are looking for a quiet, remote stay.

We had a wonderfully peaceful night at Plas Esgair, with a lovely breakfast and in the company of great hosts. A first class experience!

Nothing at all.

It was a privilege to stay with Robin and Martin in their historic country house. We could not have felt more welcome and comfortable and this was extended to include our dog. Breakfast was great and we fully recommend the evening meal that Martin prepared for us. We were blessed with an authentic and delicious dinner from India obviously made with care and skill.

Eine sehr außergewöhnliche Erfahrung an einem sehr außergewöhnlichen Ort. Leider haben wir die Küche nicht ausprobiert, das werden wir das nächste Mal auf jeden Fall tun. Martin und sein Partner sind großartige Gastgeber, das Haus ist ein Erlebnis. Wir empfehlen es unbedingt weiter!
