The extra touches of fresh fruit and homemade biscuits and cakes. The breakfast was excellent with freshly squeezed oranges, we were made to feel welcome in their home.

Had a brilliant stay here at the porch house. I couldn't fault a thing. Very warm welcome from the hosts, and immediately offered tea and cake. Comfortable bed and lovely breakfast.

I had a lovely two night stay in this wonderful historic house, very close to the town centre. My room was at the back overlooking the beautiful garden. It was really quiet, comfortable and clean. The tea tray was super generous with many varieties of tea and coffee as well as homemade biscuits. Christine also provides extras such as fresh fruit and chocolates. She and Charles provide fantastic Yorkshire hospitality and l thoroughly recommend Porch House.
