Porch House

Hosts, Charles and Christine were very welcoming and provided us with tea and delicious home baked cakes 6 in total, different selections on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and a lovely display of fruit in our room which I thought was for decorative purposes 🤦‍♀️ so sadly only discovered it was real fruit as we were leaving. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely would recommend to friends and family to stay here when they visit as we have moved into the surrounding area hence just the one night stay before we picked up the keys to our new property the morning after.

Only slight negative for me personally was that I prefer a firmer mattress due to back problems.

An excellent place for everything. The house & location were first class. The food was superb & we were greeted with coffee/tea & cake on arrival. Loved all the personal touches, the room was so nice & very clean, with a comfortable bed. We were well looked after & can highly recommend.

The only thing we didn't like, was having to leave.....
