The property was beautiful and clean. The staff was so kind and accommodating. I can’t rate this stay high enough, I would recommend this to anyone. It is all as pictured and described and more.

Absolutely stunning. The owners are delightful. The breakfast was top tier! Love love love!

Incredibly kind and genuinely welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast with freshly made fritatta and lots of other choices. Gorgeous views of Tuscan hills. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. Apart from that, it’s a great location to make day trips to bigger Tuscan cities like Florence, Pisa, Siena … We also visited San Gimigniano, Certaldo Alto (really lovely and less crowded!), Volterra and Peccioli (especially recommended to art lovers). All in all, a very nice experience! Next time we’re returning in the summer to make use of the gorgeous pool too.

Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa. Tudo no Il Defizio foi perfeito. O lugar é maravilhoso, o quarto era extremamente confortável, com uma cama excelente. O café da manhã de alta qualidade com um visual que deixa qualquer pessoa feliz ao acordar. O atendimento e atenção do Andrea foi sensacional. Check-in muito bom e sem complicações, pois acabamos chegando mais tarde do que o previsto e não tivemos problemas nenhum para entrarmos. Resumindo, tudo foi maravilhoso e voltaremos com certeza. Estadia 10/10. Muito obrigado

Wonderful experience! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable, in a perfect location for exploring Ljubljana. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food, and the breakfast was great too. They were very dog-friendly — our pup even got a bed, treats, and a water bowl. We also had a parking spot, which was really convenient. If we come back to Ljubljana, we’ll definitely stay here again!
