Il Defizio is amazing as are the staff. Sitting my the pool is everything you hope for. Visitors definitely need a car and I recommend getting food and drinks before your arrival. Many lovely wineries nearby. The breakfast each morning is excellent (plus the coffee!)

The property only hosts dinner 2x per week which was disappointing as we would have loved to have been able to eat there each night.

Goed ontbijt , prachtig zwembad met uitzicht, goed bedjes. Mogelijkheid om terplekke te eten 2x per week is wel fijn zodat je niet meer weg hoeft.

Onze kamer had toevallig maar 1 raam en geen zitje, je kon wel op het terras beneden zitten.

Our stay at Il Defizio was truly wonderful during our honeymoon. The property is beautifully located in the Tuscan countryside, with a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. The pool area was amazing, perfect for enjoying the views and sunshine. We also had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant — the food was delicious and freshly prepared. The waiter was always so kind, funny, and genuinely attentive, which made our experience even more memorable. It was also great that our dog was welcome here. Overall, Il Defizio is a place full of charm, hospitality, and care. We would love to come back and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tuscany.

Ein traumhafter Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Das kleine Häuschen Casalino hatte alles, was man benötigt. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch und der Blick über die toskanische Landschaft traumhaft. Das typische italienische Frühstück ist reichhaltig und liebevoll zubereitet. Mittags kann man aus einer Speisekarte kleine Köstlichkeiten vorbestellen, die frisch zubereitet werden. 2 x wöchentlich gibt es ein Dinner mit frisch gekochten Spezialitäten. Jedes Mal ein Highlight. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und umsorgen ihre Gäste mit einer wunderbaren Herzlichkeit. Der ca. 19 Meter lange Pool wurde von uns sehr gern genutzt. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Es gibt nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Super friendly people. We stayed in the junior suite and got excellent value for money. Views are amazing, breakfast was delicious everything was clean and the extras (eg. Wine, snacks,… were very fair priced).
