Il Defizio is a true gem nestled in the heart of beautiful Tuscany. From the very first moment, we felt like we were visiting a family — the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, treating their guests with genuine care and kindness. Their dedication and passion are evident in every detail, and it's only right to appreciate their hard work and show gratitude. The views? Absolutely breathtaking. From every corner of the property, you’re treated to sweeping panoramas of Tuscan hills, olive groves, and cypress-lined paths — the perfect backdrop for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Sunsets over Volterra are unforgettable and linger in your memory long after you leave. The food is another highlight. Daily breakfasts are fresh, varied, and full of local flavors, while the lunches and dinners, which are served twice a week are a true feast — both for the palate and the soul. I especially recommend the themed evenings with wine and regional specialties. The pool? Spotless and serene. The water was crystal clear, and the surrounding area was perfect for unwinding — an ideal spot to relax after a day of exploring. The rooms meet every expectation. Comfortable, air conditioned, charming, and thoughtfully designed. We lacked nothing during our stay. This place offers more than just accommodation — it allows you to truly rest, slow down, and soak in the spirit of Tuscany. Erg mooie accommodatie midden in Toscane. Schone en mooie kamer en badkamer. Prachtig zwembad waar je ook heerlijk een boekje kan lezen. Erg goed ontbijt, ruime keuze en goed aangevuld. Tijdens het ontbijt kijk je uit op de mooie omgeving. 2x per week is het mogelijk om te dineren, dit hebben wij gedaan en was zeker de moeite waard. Hele goede sfeer met erg vriendelijke eigenaren. Ik kan het aan iedereen aanbevelen.

Amazing stay! The staff were amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were great and a very peaceful stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Idyllisch gelegen. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Frühstück mit herrlichem Ausblick. Tolle Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Pool, ich habe ihn morgens zum Schwimmen als Start in den Tag genutzt. Erholung ist garantiert.

Todo todo todo. El personal super agradable y atento, las instalaciones preciosas, la habitación super cómoda y amplia, la cama perfecta y muy grande, el baño genial. Las vistas maravillosas, la piscina olímpica, el desayuno inmejorable y la cena riquísima. Súper tranquilo y cerca de toda la Toscana, vamos el sitio ideal para descansar y visitar la Toscana
