Beautiful property conveniently located by short car ride between lovely wineries, towns and restaurants. The rooms was very comfortable with air conditioning and a spectacular view of the hills. A family owned and run property, we enjoyed an amazing dinner on the first night (avail. Mon & Thurs). Breakfast and lunches were also great! The team were also helpful it assisting us with making dinner reservations at local restaurants.

Le personne est exceptionnellement aimable et gentil, et le bâtiment en pierre typique est simplement magnifique. La vue sur les collines toscanes est à couper le souffle et le petit-déjeuner offre un large choix. Nous espérons sincèrement y retourner.

Nuit au calme dans la campagne toscane, idéalement situé entre Volterra et San Gimignano. Super pour une étape mais encore mieux pour un séjour prolongé (ce que nous n’avons malheureusement pas fait mais nous reviendrons !). La vue de la piscine et du petit déjeuner est époustouflante, incroyable ! Les emplacements de parking permettent aux voitures d’être à l’ombre ce qui est fort appréciable. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner et la gentillesse des hôtes. Nous recommandons fortement ! Hâte d’y retourner !

"Perfect Tuscan Getaway"

We had the most beautiful stay at Il Defizio. The lovely family were so welcoming and accomodating to every need and we felt right at home. It was a nice change of scenery from busy cities we had previously been in and could not recommend more to those looking for a Tuscan stay at a budget friendly cost. I would definitely return with my whole family and upgrade to one of the larger villas.
