"Tranquility personified"

A beautiful breakfast, cooked to our wishes. A very peaceful location with a courtyard to sit out in. The hosts, who were so welcoming, made us a pot of tea and served us some biscuits as soon as we arrived that was most appreciated.

Quite a difficult location to find. The track to the farm was quite rutted so don't bring a car that is low to the ground. Torrington is not within walking distance, but there is nothing going on there anyway. The hosts recommended the 'Cyder Presse' some 4 miles away which was superb, with lovely home cooked meals and a very welcoming landlord.

"Superb"

Superb breakfast prepared by our hosts to our liking. The room was small but with an en-suite was comfortable and you had use of a lounge as well which was your own. Very rural and quiet well away from roads and general town noises. We stayed as it was only 10 minutes to RHS Rosemoor and about the same to a nearby pub for dinner. Highly recommend the Cyder Presse at Weare Giffard. Our hosts were charming and made our stop a real pleasure.

Lovely one night stay. Friendly hosts who accommodated our last minute booking with no problem. We enjoyed staying in a place with an interesting history. The room, cooked breakfast and hospitality were excellent and tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival a welcome bonus.
