"My favourite type of B and B. Quaint and quirky out in the countryside."

The double bedroom en-suite was compact and perfect. The room was on the ground floor overlooking the lovely garden. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of fresh fruit, cereals, a very tasty cooked breakfast, tea, toast and orange juice. We had a warm welcome by the owners who were friendly and chatty.

Nice welcome with tea and biscuits, lovely garden, comfortable bed and pillows

Musty smell in bedroom on arrival, mouldy silicone in bathroom. It's a bit dated. Breakfast, good selection of fruit, and cereal, cooked full English was disappointing, overcooked bacon and half a cherry tomato was a bit parsimonious!!! Nowhere on the other reviews mentions the pack of hounds nearby and a noisy dog close by

The whole place is stunning and unique. From location to the old family home charm of the place ,eating in the dining room surrounded by antique furniture and items is just idyllic ,we love the 40s .
