"An absolute gem of a B&B"

Our trip to the Old Kiln House just kept getting better and better. From the lovely welcome from Bridget into the garden oasis, welcome drinks enjoyed in the garden and then the room we stayed in. It was so well done with lots of thoughtful touches. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. A fantastic stay for easy trips into the Cotswolds. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

"Amazing B&B, one of the best we ever had"

This bed & breakfast is something truly special. It is located right in the center of Shipston, on a private, secure, and beautiful property. Before our stay, the host welcomed us warmly, explained everything, and gave us several recommendations for sights to see in the Cotswolds. The room was perfect for two—spacious and comfortable for a pleasant stay. Everything was clean and tidied daily. The breakfast was exceptional; the host prepared it according to our preferences and dietary requirements. Everything was perfect.

"Charming bed & breakfast"

We loved our stay at the Old Kiln House. The beds are comfortable, the rooms have everything you need, and Shipston-on-Stour is a nice little town with a few good pubs and stores but very few tourists (at least in early May), making it a great base for exploring the Cotswolds without being overwhelmed by crowds. Above all, Bridget is a wonderful host who made us feel right at home, gave us advice on what to visit, and served us truly delicious breakfasts each morning.

So much care has been taken to give visitors a feel of luxury in an interesting house with quite a history. Bridget has an eye for detail and providing what visitors want. Lovely bedding, bathroom fixtures and artwork. Breakfast was all you could want and the garden is delightful- a real surprise.

No one thing did we dislike. Finding it at the back of the car park was a bit of a challenge!!
