The Lawns B & B

The location was excellent-quiet but literally a short walk to the centre and beach- Alex and Sarah were extremely friendly, helpful and excellent hosts. The room was very spacious-wonderful super king size bed with quality linen and extremely comfortable. Every detail had been carefully thought out from shower caps to make-up pads, etc.The breakfast was also perfect with fresh seasonal fruit salad to hot croissants with a selection of cheeses, jams etc, plus boiled eggs and hot strong coffee.

The Lawns is in a lovely quiet location, a short walk to the town and sea front. Our bedroom and bathroom were exceptional with great attention to detail. We look forward to a return visit!

Comfortable well furnished and smart house

Breakfast was excellent - very enjoyable and plenty of coffee. Alex and Sarah were very helpful. Room very comfortable and shower excellent.

In an ideal world I would have had a desk but a minor point.

Great location near the beach and high Street, only about a five minute walk to both. Stunning house with a clean and spacious room At the top of the property in the eaves. Amazing big screen TV. Ample selection of teas and coffee in the room - all fair trade. Very cute shower room, but no bath. Lovely vegan options for continental breakfast. (Fruit loaf, various breads for toast, plant-based yoghurts, freshly made fruit salad, Dorset Cereals, tea and coffee) Friendly owners and a beautiful front garden. I would definitely go back here and highly recommend it.

Bit tight to park out the front of the house. I have a small car and I found it quite tricky. I believe there were other places to park further up the road if you needed more space. It’s not a negative, but something to consider if you have a very big car. I can’t find any negatives with this beautiful property and accommodating owners - everything was wonderful.
