The Almond Tree

The hotel is set within a gated community amongst some palacial private dwellings. It is on a side of the city away from the hustle and bustle of the centre.

The room was damp and smelt stale. I had them open the windows, which were fitted with perfectly adequte insect grills. With the fan on and the windows open, the room lost its damp odour after a day. Staff watched over my every movement. There didn't seem to be any other guests and I was subject to having a member of staff watching over me whilst I ate or drank wherever I was in the building. This was very uncomfortable. Dinner had to be ordered in advance and for a precise time, at which the phone would ring and you were told that your meal was ready. However, when I told them that I would take breakfast at 8 and check-out at 9...there was no breakfast set up at 8 the next morning!! When I had an early morning tour and let them know that I would be leaving at 7.15 am, I was not offered any form of breakfast/pack food, even though breakfast was included in my booking. The plot next door was a building site, meaning that you could not rest during the day. The duty manager, Prithvi, would stand outside my room window coughing and spitting!! I would have appreciated a conversation with Chetan, the owner, biut he was conspicuous by hos absence!

Info not clear that it is in the middle of a building site. I paid more for a tiny room when my friend had a suit for less. Room stunk of moth balls. Kettle didn’t plug in where it was, had to move to bedside table and I got scolded as the handle got very hot. Room next to reception- noisy. Staff were surly - check in took ages.

Very comfortable and nice place to stay in Jodhpur. The staff is very helpfull, the rooms are very clean.

Nous avons apprécié de prendre un bain dans la piscine en fin de journée.

L'hébergement est situé dans un quartier résidentiel très chic donc excentré du centre ville. Nécessité de prendre un taxi le soir pour se restaurer ou alors diner dans le haveli.

Un accueil parfait est particulier pour notre honey moon! Une belle upgrade super

Great property, very well designed with a great rooftop setup and home-like food. However, there is scope for improvement in the room setup.

The room needs more lighting, especially in front of the mirror. The bed is old and creates a squeaky sound at every turning or change of side while sleeping. The mattress is uneven and not helpful for a good night's sleep.
