The Almond Tree

It is superbly maintained & done up in very good taste. The rooms are very large, so are the toilets. The staff was extremely caring & helpful. The food was excellent!

The property is located in a very posh locality in Jodhpur, right below the Umaid Bhavan palace. Getting there could difficult without a car.

El hotel se encuentra ubicado en una zona residencial con seguridad privada por lo que te piden nombre a la entrada al mismo. Las habitaciones están fenomenal de tamaño, con camas grandes, ventanales que dan al exterior y baños limpios y amplios. Ducha con presión y agua caliente. La piscina exterior es muy agradable. Desayuno cuidado con tostadas, mermelada, nutela, zumos, yogur... y comida India.

Se encuentra alejado de la ciudad por lo que te tienes que mover con taxi/tuctuc, que es difícil de encontrar ya que no todos quieren entrar en la zona de seguridad. En la habitación NO hay frigorífico por lo que bebes agua del tiempo (caliente dependiendo de cuándo vayas), en el alojamiento tampoco nos vendieron agua fría por no tener.

La localisation un peu éloigné du centre et compliqué d’accès en taxi - même si les hôtes vois propose d’arranger un taxi pour vous

We had a beautiful stay at the Almond Tree. It’s a nice quiet location but close enough to the hustle and bustle of Jodhpur. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. It was a lovely few days chill for us after doing lots of travelling.

Location: we were apprehensive when we realised it was out of town, but this turned out to be a blessing because the hotel is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Having been into town, being closer would have not added much to our experience. Town was loud and chaotic. Getting tuktuks and Ubers from the hotel was easy, so we were able to get around without any problems. The staff: they were absolutely fabulous, very helpful, and so attentive. They really made our stay special. The accommodation: it was spotless, superbly clean, and comfortable. Perfect place to come back to after hot days of sightseeing. The swimming pool gets into full sun by the afternoon, and the water is refreshing, so once we'd returned from our morning out, we spent the rest of the day swimming and lounging. It was very relaxing. The food: delicious and enough to choose from. We sampled the light menu (sandwiches and kothi rolls) for lunch and ate from the main menu in the evenings. Breakfast was a decent spread with paranthas and eggs made to order, plus continental options. We had dinner on the roof terrace in the evenings, which was very special. Overall, The Almond Tree is excellent value for money, and the staff are wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Everything about Almond tree was exceptional. . They even gave us a packed breakfast because of early check out

Was surprised to find that they did not a plug point for the kettle to make tea . Had to move the kettle to the best and plug . This is the o ly oversight in an otherwise excellent accommodation
