Breakfast starts quite late (8 am), especially if you want to make an early start. Breakfast at 8 also means: things start being prepared at 8, the breakfast is not ready yet. Maybe start preparations earlier? The room is quite small (but to be expected for this low price) Lots of (difficult) stairs tot reach the rooftop Noisy outside (temple behind the corner and on the square) In a back alley, so you need to carry your bags through some smudgy alleys (we were lucky our tuktuk driver assisted to find the hotel and carry a bag)

An unforgettable stay! The room was amazing, set in a 300-year-old house directly beneath Mehrangarh Fort, it truly feels like living in a castle. The owners were so kind and communicative, happily sharing stories about life in India and offering lots of helpful travel tips. Owner’s wife cooks incredibly delicious, fresh homemade meals and prepares whatever you like. A very special place with wonderful people, highly recommended!

Only one hairdryer in hotel :)

This is an amazing, very very old house. The room was absolutely beautiful. Boho chic. The breakfasts were amazing - very plentiful and varied with home-cooked food. Nice rooftop place to eat with wonderful views of the fort. Location in the very heart of the old city. Hosts were very informative, helpful and friendly.

We didn’t mind that there wasn’t a TV, but this should be made clear on the booking.com listing. I had trouble adjusting the shower temperature but I did eventually learn how to do it. My partner had no issues with the shower at all. He found the internet an issue but I didn’t.

Such a beautiful building with lots of history, so great to see it so well kept. The husband and wife duo that run this home stay were so welcoming, accommodating and lovely to talk to. Would highly recommend The Thikana Heritage!

Очень радушные хозяева. Помогли с организацией трансфера от вокзала и после в аэропорт. Сам отель очень камерный и бесконечное удовольствие расположиться на террасе за завтраком и смотреть как просыпается город. Однозначно рекомендую к посещению.

Узкие улочки, часть пути надо нести чемодан на себе

A 400 yr old property with amazing hosts.

As the property is old and right in the middle of the city , so its basically surrounded by buildings and reaching here with lots of luggage might be some difficulty .
