1550 Residenza d’Epoca

We took advantage of ordering breakfast to be delivered to the took and were pleasantly surprised. We also felt the cost for this service was fair. The room we stayed in had fantastic views of the city on 3 sides and morning sunrise was really nice to see. The room was very clean.

Parking, parking, parking. We were not aware that parking was not provided, which we may have missed during the rental. This required to park outside the city and walk to the location. For my wife and I this was not an issue but people should be aware of this. The upper room, which we took, was great but for some people the stairs might be an issue. This was in the posting however it doesn't really prepare one for what is there. Again, for us it was fine, but the 2 couples we were traveling with did not want to try the stairs; their loss - our gain. :-)

The rooms are in an old building, they are very spacious and decorated with a lot of taste. Location is perfect: in the center of Sienna and close to a parking if you come with a car. There are also great recommendations of things to do, where to eat...

Location was great.

We were stuck in florence and unable to arrive until the second day. We were charged full price which i understand but was also without apology or any allowances. No full mirror in the room;8’ fact the only mirror was a small bathroom mirror. And no coffee offered in the morning. No waters in the room. When we asked if we could leave our bags after check out to explore the town, she said only for one hour. Considering we paid an extra night we didn’t stay there; the hospitality wasn’t very great.

Lovely room in a good location

It was well located, clean and comfortable. The stairs were only an issue upon arrival, after that, not a problem. Francesca was very helpful too.
