All the reviews you read about A casa Di Frasquita are spot on. Location of the apt, cleanliness etc. Francesca is an amazing host. We locked ourselves out on Christmas night and she arrived to let us in 10 minutes later. We spent Christmas here and it was like home from home as it was so well equipped. The location of the apartment is wonderful - safe and so near the centre. The pattesserie around the corner is amazing and so many good bars and coffee shops in the neighbourhood. The roof garden is a gem in a city. I hate leaving.

We've been there again to finish our Siciliy holidays and again it was fantastic. We will definetly come back in 2024.

Getting the luggage up with hurting knees ist a little bit painful. But you don't get beatiful sun terraces in ground floor Apartments ;-)

We've been here now several times and as usual it was fantastic. The appartment is really nice and cosy. And the rooftop terrasse is simply fantastic.

We cannot find anything to complain about.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with great light and views of Catania! It was nice to have a full kitchen & two bathrooms. The smart TV was a great plus!

It's on the 4th floor up in a building with high ceilings by American standards. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. Once your heart rate recovers, it's a wonderful place!

This generously sized but quirky layout apartment is located in the corner of a quiet street right in the heart of the Historic centre of Catania. We arrived by car from Palermo where we had stayed for the previous 6 nights, slightly unsure as Catania is described as the poor relation to Palermo. The apartment is excellent and very well equipped, a true home from home. If like us you prefer to cook whilst travelling the kitchen has everything you need, three spaces to dine, in the kitchen, a table in the lounge or on the roof terrace - all very comfortable. Art, culture, history and shopping are all very close by and walking to everything was not an issues. Catania was clean, easy to navigate (unlike Palermo) and there is plenty to see and do. The apartment is perfect for a cultural visit but also easy to stay and relax and sunbath on the terrace waiting for the cool of evening before venturing out. From the terrace there are views of Etna, the city and the Cathedral and also the Port, where you can watch the cruise ships come and go. The beach is only a half hour walk away of you fancy a swim. The host was fantastic, on arrival giving us a local map with sights and supermarkets marked out. Later in the week we bumped into her at the supermarket and she was keen to know that everything was ok and were we managing to find the sights and locations we wanted to see? Very friendly, very helpful and we felt welcomed not only to her apartment but to her City too. We will definitely return to Sicily and it will be to this apartment in Catania. It is an excellent base to explore the Island and cleaner and calmer than Palermo with an abundance of history to visit. Highly recommend this apartment, very comfortable, excellent location, surprisingly quiet, spacious and secure, the air con was very welcome.

That we didn't stay longer. The apartment is in an old building so you have to navigate the stairs, not too many and the benefit is the huge roof terrace.

The accommodation was better than expected and very well equipped. Everything worked perfectly and the host is lovely.

There are a lot of stairs but don't be deterred by that, unless it might be an issue for you.
