Good location, parking close by at Talete using easy park app. Very detailed info from Daniela for self check in etc. Large well decorated room and comfortable bed. Kettle and tea in room. Wine glasses. Lots of choices for breakfast served in the dining room.

Old fashioned maybe but I prefer to meet the host personally. No-one came in room to wash mugs or glasses.

I would’ve liked to have been notified that the payment was being taken out of my account beforehand, especially as 18euro more was taken out, to cover the city tax. It was debited directly by the property and not booking.com.

The room was large and airy. Breakfast was ok. Tables were set with fruit, yoghurt, cheese, cold meats and cake. We had to request coffee. Another table had eggs but we weren’t asked.

The room I booked was listed as having a sea view which it didn’t. It looked directly across to another building.

Everything was perfect. The location, the room, the staff very kind, amazing breakfast.

Modern well appointed apartment in a well restored historic building in quiet part of the Old Town. Very close to the waterfront and undercover parking station. The owner recommended trying his son’s restaurant close walking distance away. The restaurant is Principe Degli Osti and we recommend it highly. Indoor and outdoor terrace dining, a very varied and creative menu with both seafood and pizza options. The atmosphere was great with most of the customers Italian it is obviously a restaurant favoured by the local residents of Siracusa. This accomodation and the related restaurant was one of our best experiences in two weeks travelling around Sicily.

There is no on site or nearby person to help us. We arrived at 4:50pm 10 minutes before our 5pm expected arrival. We could not get into the place. We called the phone number provided 20 times and no answer. Then we saw a text explaining how to enter. Once we got inside there were no lights on the stairs. It was very very dangerous. We finally got to our room with our own flashlights and found the power was off ; there was no air conditioning; no hot water; and the shower and sinks did not drain. We finally saw a cad that said the owners son ran a restaurant 25 minutes away. We walked to the restaurant to ask him for help. He came over and fixed the circuit breaker. All In we lost 5 hours of running around; had to cancel a diner with friends; it was a terrible experience. The place is dangerous where the stair lights were on timers that boy stayed on for 90 seconds; there was no railing on the stairs; it as very very dangerous in the dark. The problem is simple; the lady who owns the Airbnb does not have an “in city” contact when there is a problem. She is trying to run this remotely and it is awful. A local hotel next door where we went for help told us they would not help us because every week they have people coming by who need help with Arche. The hotel employees were told to decline help because it happens every week. The lady who owns this Airbnb should not be in the business. She is cheep and will not pay to have a local contact when help is needed. We would like refund for this awful experience.

Super nice big B&B room with two balconies, High & bright room and spacious bathroom. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast! Super clean! Located on quiet side of Ortigia, but still near all the restaurants and shops. It perfect week in Arche for us, grazie mille!

Everything was perfect!

The room and two small terraces were very nice. The room was also very clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was certainly generous and the service was good.
