WePuglia - Vista Cattedrale

The location of this apartment is fantastic, right on the outskirts of the old town for easy walking to a ton of great parts of Monopoli. The view from the roof is great.

Our recent stay at Vista Cattedrale in Monopoli was, unfortunately, marred by serious issues that were poorly handled by the management, resulting in an extremely uncomfortable experience for our group. Despite informing the concierge early on that 3 out of the 4 air conditioning units in the apartment were not functioning, we were met with indifference and inaction. The only response we received was that she would "be off shift in 10 minutes" as though that excused any further responsibility for our comfort. After that dismissive remark, we never heard from anyone again. There was no follow-up, no technician sent, no offer of fans, and no alternative solution provided. As a result, 3 of our 5 guests had to try to sleep in 80°F (27°C) heat with high humidity, which made rest nearly impossible and put a serious damper on our trip. It’s shocking that a property marketed as a high-end holiday apartment could fail so spectacularly in handling such a basic amenity failure. In a place like Monopoli, especially during warm months, functional air conditioning is not a luxury—it's a necessity. The complete lack of accountability and guest support was unacceptable, and it’s clear that once your payment is received, you’re on your own. We would not recommend Vista Cattedrale to anyone looking for a comfortable and responsibly managed holiday rental.

Room much smaller than indicated. Smallest hotel room I have ever been. NEVER EVER 18m.

Not suitable for a 1 night stay as the hotel doesn’t allow check in until 4pm and check out is at 10 (with no flex). Staff lacked communication and ignored requests (eg transfer requests) and were more interested in getting the next customer in rather than looking after the current consumers. Location is great and for a small room quite comfy and clean however the customer service experience put a dampener on our trip.
