Perfekt war das man das Auto direkt an der Strasse am Hotel hat , fast alle hier im Dorf müssen alles aus dem Auto sonst ewig weit in ihre Zimmer tragen . Der Ort selbst ist nicht befahrbar ! Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse und Sauberkeit des Zimmers waren sehr gut. Auch Ablauf und Freundlichkeit bei Empfang sehr angenehm . Frühstück buchbar für 8 Euro ...hatten wir aber nicht. Es steht ein "Allgemeinkühlschrank" zur Verfügung. Nachts wird Hoftor geschlossen ,man fühlt sich sehr sicher. Es gab sogar 2 Flaschen Wasser als Geschenk , Klimagerät ist sehr neu , Bett bequem und man hat eine Art Balkon-Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick. Badezimmer sehr gross und komfortabel.

Es besteht laut Zettel den man bekommt als Richtlinie absolute Ruhe zwischen 13 - 17 ...und ab 22:00 Uhr. Darüber freuten wir uns , jedoch ist genau neben unserem Zimmer das Restaurant mit Terrasse . Und diese sehen das anders ! Wir hatten von 12 Uhr Mittag bis 19 Uhr einen sehr lauten Kindergeburtstag....und ab 21 Uhr eine Erwachsenen Party mit Karaoke und sehr lauter Musik weit in die Nacht hinein. Es gab weder vorab eine Info , noch eine Entschuldigung...das war sehr schade , und machte unsere 2te Nacht dort nicht gerade angenehm . Wir würden es dennoch noch einmal buchen , mit der Hoffnung dann ohne Veranstaltung vom Restaurant. Der Weg vom Hotel in die Dorfmitte ist extrem Steil , evtl. nicht für jeden machbar ...jedoch ist das der komplette Ort betreffend.

Great location, steep terrain but doable. Authentic property, quiet with great views. A magical place for a once in a lifetime experience, small town feeling with a tight knit community. Town at night with the lighting is dreamy!

Had trouble getting the hot water to work in the shower & not a lot of staff around.

Be prepared that there are no restaurants open in Castelmezzano in the winter season. It is stunningly beautiful though.

Great location with balconey overlooking the mountains. Location is first right turn entering the city from the tunnel, can not miss. Included free parking.

The view was great but now awesome (picky as I am a photographer). Owner was awesome and could not be friendlier despite our inadequate Italian. Walk to village downhill so the walk back get your heartbeat up (which is a good thing). View from village awesome.

The location is great with a wonderful view! Parking on the side. Very welcoming host. Clean and good value for what you pay.

We didn’t read the description and wasn’t aware that we had to pay for the control for air conditioning . When we realize it it was too late to have it. So we didn’t have air conditioning working.

Doesn’t look appealing, host was not very friendly, very steap walk from town back to hotel, no breakfast available, this hotel would have been great in the 70’s it needs a serious upgrade
