Alpine Wind

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Alpine Wind; every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The breakfast was delightful, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. Ben, the owner, was incredibly helpful and had extensive knowledge of the town, providing us with valuable recommendations. The snow falling outside our window added a magical touch to our room, making our experience even more unforgettable. The private onsen was a fantastic bonus as well. The location is perfect, just a short walk from restaurants and conveniently close to the shuttle busses that take you to the resorts. We highly recommend Alpine Wind and will definitely return!

Not enough space in lounge area. Rooms small. Bathroom was really small in our double room. No pick up/drop off.

It was in a great location and the staff were absolutely amazing. Ben the owner went above and beyond and would provide amazing recommendations on day trips etc. definitely recommend staying here and the private omens were divine.

We loved the location! Super easy to get around to pick up our ski rentals and to get to the ski mountains every day - we used a bus stop that was just a short walk away. The breakfast was great, the restaurants nearby were awesome (super close to the main downtown area), and the ski rental place even picked up our gear from the hotel after our stay! All around, it was a wonderful experience and we'd love the chance to come back some day. Also LOVED the private onsens - it was nice that we got to experience it together after a full day of skiing!

The Onsen was amazing and incredible after a long day of skiing, the staff were super helpful and friendly, and provided some great tips on what to do in hakuba and how to get around, beautiful views and location, good drying room for all gear.

Felt more like a home stay than a hotel, not necessarily a bad thing, but may not be for everyone. Room was on the small side, but that was expected. Few minor cleanliness issues such as hair on the bathroom floor and wee on the toilet seat upon check in, but overall was fairly clean.

The Host Ben was fantastic. He helped with a heap of things pre-trip and during our stay. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and the private onsen is something else! Best way to end each day of snowboarding

The bed was super comfortable. Amazing Duvet. Close to bus. Helpful staff and great breakfast.
