The breakfast was great and we enjoyed it every day. Was filling and tasty. The Onsen was absolutely amazing. Loved it. The owner was lovely and it was relatively close to shops and services.

The room size was small and the bedding configuration would have been better if we could have could have pushed the two single beds together. Was good apart from that.

The owner, Alan, is a great dude! Easy to get along with, there is ample space for a group of 8, all facilities are easy to work with, worth the stay!

My only downside to this property is the 20 min walk from echoland, but if you time up with the bus that leaves 50m away, it’s all sweet.

Cosy, very warm hearing in room, great amenities such as a private onsen, great staff.

Standout highlight would be the private onsen which you can book a slot for each night. always easy to book a slot so you can soak in it every night! Breakfast was great and allowed plenty of time to get onto the slopes!

Staff are great, accomodation is clean and well maintained, breakfast was always good and the private onsen is such a nice way to end the day.

The room was very good, and the boss was very helpful in assisting us. The reserved open-air bath made us feel relaxed and happy.

Onsen is beautifully designed and well kept. Rooms and amenities are clean and good quality. Very close to shuttle stop which goes to all ski resorts.

There's a lovely common area with a fireplace but it's often occupied by the owner watching TV, which kinda kills the vibe a bit and makes it not a nice place to hang out. The daily Onsen booking system is a little annoying, would be nicer in my opinion if it was just split into male/female sides so that we could use it at any time instead of having to make private bookings. It can be hard to secure some timeslots when other guests always beat you to making the booking. Western tourists should learn the Japanese way!

Traditional style ski lodging next to Echo and Happo ski slopes. The manager Ben goes above and beyond to help guests with his vast local knowledge and genuine hospitality. The property has 2 free private onsen spas, so couples can book the onsen and enjoy together. Most onsen in Japan are not communal (male and female are separated) so this was one of the best aspects of the stay. Great social vibe. Will definitely be back !
