Alpine Wind

Great facilities with an amazing private onsen you can book at night for 45 minutes. The staff are so friendly and had great recommendations for our stay. Amazing location. We are already booking our trip for next year here.

Only minor things- the room would be better if it had a lamp instead of a large overhead light for night time use.

Location was good, close to the bus station for the slopes. It was close to the main street in Echoland aswell which was good.

The breakfast was quite limited, and the shower area was quite small.

Great location, and has a fantastic Onsen.

The upstairs bathroom is shared with a few people so can become busy. The pillows were very average and need replacing.

Host was great and very helpful with information regarding skiing activities, hire, transportation and restaurants. Cosy chalet vibes with breakfast and common areas.

Rooms are fully booked and busy and some visitors are noisy late at night. Maybe a little expensive for a few nights but probably comparable to others and for time of year.

great accommodation, i shared a bedroom with a friend for 5 nights, Onsen is a must to use if you stay here, great location with ease of access to buses to ski resort, ben had great advise on all things dinner, equipment hire and ski resort recommendations for all levels.

Cozy and comfortable stay. Excellent service from owner and family. The most amazing was the breakfast provided every morning in the dining room that has a great view of snowing. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Easy to go Iwatake as the bus stop is nearby just 2 minutes walk and free of charge.

Nothing serious. The private bathroom is a bit small, but it is still acceptable as common in Japan.

Great location, Alpine Wind is close to Echo Land, bus stops and the supermarket. There are heaps of cafes and restaurants close by, and even central Hakuba is only a 15-20 minute walk away. The private onsen was absolutely amazing! Rooms were clean and tidy, the daily breakfast was great. Ben is extremely knowledgeable about the area and facilities and always able to give tips or advice. We had a great week and will definitely be back.

Host was awesome, gave great advice for snowboarding and dropped us to the station when we were leaving.
