Ann and her partner were absolutely kind and welcoming. We recommend Zarafa House to everyone, including who has kids. They serve a really good and fresh breakfast and it changes every day. My girlfriend needed a Gluten Free option and Ann well satisfied her requests. In addition, the room was spacious and very clean and the ambiance was calm and relaxing. I was up to thanks all the staff: they were absolutely friendly and helpful. They helped us also to plan our unforgettable excursions. It’s been a lovely stay!!!

Everything was clean, the place is lovely and so is the local staff, good breakfast, huge fruit plate, close to the beach and Kongo River but I found the owner meh-cold-ish.

The place was lacking hospitality for me. I arrived and the owner wasn't there to great me which fine as it was around 5-6pm so I was guided by the guard who was very kind but all this to say that I only met the owner for the first time the next day in the morning who didn't say much to welcome me. She just answered my question about breakfast and served it. In contrast, I saw her greet french tourists today giving them many information about the area, things to do etc. Similarly when I checked out, it was very cold and short. She let me stay in the garden while I waited for my next accommodation to be ready which was nice of her but didn't ask how was the stay etc. I was left leaving the premises with no help with my luggages or a goodbye, just like a ghost (oh and she was in the lobby so she saw me). Feels like an Airbnb you come in and out rather than a welcoming B&B. I am a solo young African woman so maybe taken less seriously? but anyways no homey feelings for me - except the local staff who were lovely!

Breakfast was so sweet and well served! The rooms were immaculate and well stocked with high quality products. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable.

Their rooms are very clean, well organized, exquisite landscape and attractive environment, the night view from the pool, swings and the sitting place is quite breathtaking. Their staff are very friendly. It's not far from the beach and very accessible road. The rooms have an African touch and are quiet, where relaxation is at its best. I likes how their windows are made in that no mosquito disturbance. Their rooms are cool. The breakfast display was awesome, it was so delicious.

Nothing i could point out

I enjoyed my stay at Zarafa with my family. The rooms were clean, beddings changed and met expectations. I also enjoyed the breakfast and meals made by the chef.
