Zarafa House

The excellent condition of the facilities at hand, overall cleanliness and the breakfasts come to mind. Ann Rietjens, the host, went over and above to ensure that my stay here was as pleasant as possible. Zarafa house makes for a quiet, quaint stay surrounded by nature, and remains easily accessible to the nearby beaches and resorts. Security is also excellent.

Room fan was a bit week

We were stay here for 5 days and it was amazing as it was our Honeymoon, Ann and Zarafa team prepared some little extra present for us amazing breakfast was everyday different and very delicious, Ann and staff were very helpful in every aspect location maybe not fit to everyone but

from the moment we arrived to the time that we left it was a complete joy. Our host, Ann, was perfect.Nothing seemed to have been overlooked in an effort to provide a secure, peaceful retreat.And individual requests and needs were met with a friendly, no problem attitude. The small ,but professional and efficient staff were excellent , with someone being on hand throughout the night to look after us. But we felt so relaxed and in total privacy, a totally unique stay away from home.

leaving. I will admit, Diani beach wasn't the best part of our three week African adventure. But the stay over at Zarafa house made it one of them.

Ann is a lovely host that really helped us out a lot by providing recommendations and organising trips. We also really liked the homemade, varied breakfasts and that there is only a small number of rooms, making Zarafa House quiet and homey.

We preferred the other side of Diani Beach but it's just a 15 minute Tuk Tuk ride away.

Small and calm place within walking distance to the beautiful beach in Diani. Great breakfast with a lot of fruit and variation from day to day. The owner provided useful information about restaurants and activities etc. They have cooperation with a couple of tuk-tuk drivers and we used one of them (Cheupe) for all rides during our stay, which worked very well and was very convenient (it is recommended not to walk after dark).

Nestled within a magnificent tropical garden, Zarafa House exudes quiet elegance. The pool is magical, and the towels and hats are a fantastic touch. Our time was short but, sweet. We will return!
