Zarafa House

This is a beautiful quiet oasis. Very well designed with lots of lovely touches. Superb breakfast.

When the electricity went off the generator woke me up and was very loud. The owner can be a little brusque, for instance, no choice at breakfast - you get what you are given! Some distance from the beach.

Loved the calmness and tranquility that came with the stay. Felt like I was in a secluded palace somewhere near the beach. 100 percent would recommend.

Great bed and breakfast! The owner is very welcoming and helpful and the facilities are great. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

We liked everything

Really enjoyed our stay. Ann was really helpful in arranging activities and also provided a great breakfast. The property was quiet and relaxing with an honesty box/fridge with drinks to enjoy by the pool. Bedroom and bathroom were finished to a high standard and other staff were a delight to interact with.

The property is a relatively short tuktuk drive to most restaurants and a short walk from the beach.

I very much liked the quality and grandeur of the building, and it was a relaxed setting in a peaceful area. The space on the site was very much appreciated if you are looking for downtime. However, there wasn't too much else on offer to set it apart from other establishments.

I thought the staff were okay but not overly friendly. The Host was quite stern, so it was not the welcoming and happy atmosphere I was hoping for as I felt I was being judged at times. Although it is clearly a new build business and all the foundations have been well developed over the last 5 years, I feel there can be more work done to improve customer experience. I won't be coming back or recommending this place. I do think it would be more suitable for, say, an elderly couple who wanted to relax alone with minimal interaction. For younger people who are looking for something unique and memorable, this is not it.

A beautiful garden with pool, very peaceful and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was incredible, and both the staff and Ann were always looking out to make this a superb stay. She helped me book some activities, which was very helpful.
