Bicycle rent, very nice location just behind ancient city and super kind and helpful host.

I loved my stay at Ruins Villa. The room is definitely minimal but I didn't really need anything i didn't have. It was spacious and clean. The owner is fantastic and a joy to speak with. He took me on an evening walk to see animals and we talked a lot about traveling. Its so close to the ruins! I used a bicycle and rode the entire park. The food is some of the best curry i had on my entire trip. I would definitely stay again.

A warmer light in the room would help a lot with the comfy feeling and the mosquito net needs something to drape over on the bed to keep it off of the body.

Camera e bagno ampi e puliti, ma basterebbe qualche accortezza in più per rendere il tutto più comodo per i viaggiatori (una mensola, un attaccapanni, le zanzariere alle finestre). La posizione defilata è risultata un po' più impegnativa a causa della pioggia, ma la casa è in un paradiso. Cene deliziose e accurate, il padrone di casa gentile e attento.

Personnel d'une extrême gentillesse et attachant, toujours présent pour aider. Le calme et la sincérité. Ça fait du bien.

Sometimes, in a little hotel or homestay, you can get moments of magic. This is one of those places. There are no frills - just a very clean en-suite room, a fan, a comfortable bed and some lovely home cooking available. Sit quietly in the verandah for a few peaceful moments, and the jungle wildlife comes to you like a Kipling poem; langurs, deer, and giant squirrels all came past. There were a pair of birds taking turns to sleep in the bougainvillaea outside our window. It felt like the essence of Sri Lanka. Upali is a charming and understated host who will take you on a nighttime walk to see the animals like hornbills and porcupines. We loved it.

Tutto perfetta, dimensioni della camera, acqua calda, colazione, cena preparata dalla famiglia, la cortesia di questa famiglia è eccezionale, come di tutte le persone incontrare in Sri Lanka! Addirittura ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare uno spostamento in taxi due giorni dopo che avevamo lasciato la guest house, si sono interessati dei nostri spostamenti e ci hanno aiutato a distanza! La passeggiata notturna per vedere gli animali è stata speciale! Consiglierei a tutti di venire qui!

Attenzione a farsi dare le indicazioni giuste per entrare nell'area archeologica, l'uscita è vicina ma l'entrata no! In più noi ci siamo fatti un'ora in bici sotto il sole perché i biglietti si fanno da un'altra parte. Consiglio di andare in tuk tuk all'ingresso!
